The accommodation at the Mansfield Hotel was big and brilliant. the staff were terrific and super, they even extended my reservation. - the hotel is in a very central area close to stores and subway stations. - Free wifi is available at the subway stations nearby. - the hotel is just 2 minutes away from Times Square. - Major attractions like a multinational department store chain are within walking distance from the hotel.

Decent sized, new-fashioned units provided with a coffee and a fireplace plus old wooden floors. Best possible, top location in the fantastic area. Again, not far from a multinational department store chain.

Retro room with everything functional, but no closet or fridge. the lounge area was clean, and there was climate control to keep comfy. A nice touch was the writing table - great for getting work done or just jotting down notes. Service here was top-notch, and the parking was conveniently close 🚗.

Cozy atmosphere. Not crowded.
The staff was not as helpful as I have experienced at other hotels. The coffee/tea bar was out of water for tea and also out of tea bags. When informed of this their response was " we will get to it shortly" but 30 minutes later the situation was the same.

There is a nice library on the ground floor with complimentary hot drinks. The rooms were clean and modern.
I felt that the hotel staff were not nearly polite enough on the phone or in person for the cost of the room. We were literally snubbed when I called to enquire if the room was ready 2 hours before checking, as I was told to do by the concierge.

I really enjoyed having a room with a nice view. the location was awesome, especially for strolling around Times Square. There was a great restaurant just a short 10-15 minute walk from here! 🍽️

It is a beautiful old hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was reasonably priced and spacious. We were there during Hurricane Sandy and the hotel staff managed the situation very well. The complimentary coffee machine with lattes, expresso, etc. was a great touch.

Very expensive compared to what you get, small rooms in an old outdated hotel. Staff is not friendly, breakfast was terrible for extreme price (US35)

Everything was very good during the stay at this place, even though there were some employees who came off as a bit rude.

For our first experience in New York it was terrific. All five of us had a wonderful time and loved how close it was to everything. The concierge was really helpful and was so professional . We just loved it and would book again. The city was amazing!! I celebrated my 70th birthday with my two daughters and two friends.l What an wonderful 6 days.
